Arrival at SJO Airport. Welcome to Costa Rica!
Meet and greet and private transfer from the International Airport to your hotel
Overnight at San Jose Hotel ( Autentico Hotel or similar)

Transfer to Tortuguero
We will pick you up early in the morning for your transfer to Tortuguero, passing through small towns and extensive banana plantations until reaching the pier. Then, you will continue by boat for about 1.5 hours through the rivers and canals until arriving at your jungle lodge.
Visit Tortuguero town in the afternoon. Enjoy learning more about the culture of Limon and its people with your guide and group.

Tour: Tortuguero National Park Canals
Enjoy a boat tour through the Tortuguero canals, a national park famous for being the habitat of seven species of turtles, for its great diversity of crustaceans and numerous species of freshwater fish. After lunch, free time: you can walk around and enjoy the surroundings of the hotel.

Transfer to Puerto Viejo
Transfer by boat from Tortuguero to Guapiles. Private transfer from Guapiles to Puerto Viejo area.
Today, we will transfer you to the South Caribbean region, home of the most amazing beaches in Costa Rica, the Afro-Caribbean culture and its exquisite local music, traditions and gastronomy.

Enjoy a free day exploring in the Caribe Sur!
During the month of August, the locals celebrate the Afro-Caribbean culture and history of the region. There are carnavales and parades where you can hear local music and watch dancers. There are also historical talks and food tastings at local restaurants. Ask your Family Go Global liaison for the list of local activities happening during the time of your visit.

It is time to say goodbye to the beautiful Caribe Sur.
We will leave Puerto Viejo early in the morning and head to the Veragua Rainforest Reserve for zip lining and a brief study of the tropical tree frogs at this amazing science research center. In the afternoon we will make our way back to San Jose.

Your Pura Vida Caribe tour has come to an end.
